Reynolds cost more than what eels paid for Moses :)

Did this in the Parra forum.

Parra are paying Moses $850
Tigers are paying Reynolds $750

We originally offered Moses $900

Thank God for small mercies. Dont bother disputing, I know two things as gospel 1. These figures (from inside the club) 2. You're a Troll.

I wont feed you anymore

It's all Hunts fault apparently. $12m contract and all....

Honestly, how hard should us tigers fans be fapping over Milne? I'm more excited about this signing over packer, moreso because of his ability to beat his men 1 on 1 9/10 times

Must be a blow for you guys imo

Even if we did pay Reynolds more, we've dodged a huge Bullet with Moses.

Renoylds at just 750k a year will be our highest paid player, heart and soul of the Bulldogs, captain material etc. that's pretty damn good

Yeah I always thought his size would be an issue in the step up - although I look at matt prior and he's a workhorse prop with a pretty small frame and gets by well

Reckon the tigers would wanna add 5kg muscle to his frame in the off season though

I reckon his frame is fine tbh. He's just young. Yeah there are some genetic freaks around who hit 115kg at 20, but most of us don't really build quality weight until we stop growing. He's certainly not small and I see no reason he couldn't get to near 110kg. And at that weight he'll be a weapon IMO with his work rate

I've already posted multiple sources to the contrary.

That's what shut the hyenas up last time.

Your word doesn't change a thing

Face value he is a loss because he is a strong runner with a good fend who is able to set up others. A few questions on his defence but to me that is a symptom of lack of game time which he hasn't had much of this year. He is a good pick up for you guys.

I'd say he will be competing with JJ Felisse and Junior Tatola for the final bench spot. That's 3 of the 4 junior kangaroos props from last year so you'd think at least 1 of them will come good LOL

Manly way outpoached the Raiders, a cap was called for beginning in the 80's because of Arko

Nope. The salary Cap was brought in at the end of the 80's hand in glove with the draft which was implemented at end of the 1990 season and was deemed illegal 1991. The salary cap was never supposed to act on its own and was not designed to level the playing field (that was the role of the draft). It wasnt brought in to stop Manly buying everyone, it was brought in at the end of the 80's because Canberra had sent themselves broke building and keeping that mega team. The initial role of the salary cap was to stop teams going broke.

The Warriors have made a big splash today landing a franchise signing - Manaia Cherrington. World domination will surely ensue.

Not really sure what happened with Manaia. On 2014/15 he really looked like he couldn't miss. Tremendous vision out of dummyhalf, by all reports the club viewed him as a future captain. He looked right at home in first grade in 15 and to me was miles ahead of Jacob Liddell who was only a year younger. He made the kiwis squad for the England tour and by all reports impressed everyone Over there.

However come 2016 right from the trials he looked off. Defence was terrible and the spark that we'd seen was nowhere. Not sure if he got too comfortable or Taylor was telling him not to run but he was clearly out of his depth in first grade. In the meantime Liddle came along in leaps and bounds, was by far the best hooker in the NYC and defence improved out of sight.

Haven't seen Manaia at Cronulla but when Joseph Paulo is preferred at hooker you know there's something wrong

The Raiders have signed Erin Clark.

I don't know who that is.

Warriors signed Cherrington and then released Clark.

He's an NYC half who filled in at hooker in the ISP side.

Has some energy about him, but you'd be looking at a pretty horrific injury toll for him to get a run.

I don't know who that is.

Erin played a first grade game earlier this year. I think he'd passed Kearneys process exam as he's one of the few who can count past 10 at the Warriors without taking off his socks.

He played 5 minutes and immediately created a try. For the opposition.

He then was promptly dropped. Not to NSW Cup. But to NYC. Where he pulled a succession of poor to abysmally average games in a team that celebrated his return by losing 12 in a row.

I was stunned when he got called up to first grade. He's just a meh at best NYC plodder. His mum was a Silver Fern. He left the Warriors for personal reasons. I was fairly sure that meant he was making a career change and trying out for intergender netball. I suppose going to Canberra will amount to much the same. He's a cross between David Howell and Kris Kahler. Just without the skill, speed and ability.

This my friend is my nomination for post of the year.

Will never forget Manly's raping and pillaging. The worst thing though, is that they always seemed to rape a single club at a time. 1981 Roosters finish minor premiers, but lose both finals and out. At the end of 1981 season, for the1982 season, Manly poach 8 of our players plus the coach, Bozo. 1982, 83 Manly lose both Grand Finals to Parra. LOL Karma. 8 f**king players !!! ffs !! Took us 6 years to finally recover and make the finals again in 87.

What a load of f**king bullshit, you can believe that official garbage if you like but the salary cap was introduced because teams like Manly and Easts had been running roughshod over the rest for years. Many teams were going broke trying to prevent their pillaging long before the Raiders were born.

Raiders were just icing on the cake, a climax to a culmination of events began by Manly years before, if you believe the ARL/NRL do anything overnight you're delusional . . . how many years will it take for the NRL to realise the cap is not doing the game any favours . . . only encouraging clubs to dig for talent by helping them keep it will prevent stagnation

Seeing some of the centres you guys have had over the last few years, pretty hard!

He's got potential to be a very, very good player. Strong and aggressive, good footwork and a pretty killer offload. His defensive reads can be off but that can be fixed. His actual tackling technique is fine. Definite starter for you guys and will be an awesome combo with Suli.

IMO he should have been starting over Aitken this year, but we will be able to cover his loss. He is genuinely better off with you guys at this stage.
