It's not a signing without risk. The shoulder has to be a worry and he will be 32 by the end of the contract (assuming he actually sees one out for once). He can be selfish and is more than willing to put himself before the club if he feels like he is being underpaid or disrespected as well.
But he was instrumental in turning around the poor attitude at the Raiders and we saw an immediate regression when he left. I think that's what sheens is looking to get out of him at the Tigers.

Bateman looks like the kind of crazy merkin to pull out something special against Raiders and I think all the salty Raiders fans know this.

I don’t understand so many worrying about a 4 year deal, guy never sees them out anyway. This is the one signing I’m worried about. He’s been average as for wigan, 2019 seems a lifetime ago. Like you say though Ricky credited him for bringing professionalism to the raiders so I’m at least hoping for that.

Bateman was greedy but I’d be blaming Moses more for what happened

batemen tried in the end to resign with Canberra but by then his money had been spent on someone else
