Any QRL fans think these guys might push for first grade?

I know griffin has been in a few first grade squads over the years (including the Tigers) but never made a final 17. On Twitter a few people have said the other bloke is more likely to make it.

Griffin is a different player these days. In his early days, he was a edge backrow that was caught short in all the key categories. In recent times, he's been playing as a mobile prop forward and has been utterly relentlessness in the middle of the field. Personally, I'd give him a real shot off the bench

God I hope that filthy dog billy McCowardly makes first grade, would like to see him go toe to toe with blokes his size as opposed dôg shotting a bloke half his size frôm behind who's been held by two of his team mates
From what I understand, the incident was completely out of character for Billy. Not excusing it by any means and believe the Match Review Committee and Judiciary should have thrown the back at him but he isn't the type of player that usually resorts to those tactics.

I think Billy could be a handy bench player if Taylor could iron out some defensive deficiencies in his game. His form towards the back end of the season was unreal, culminating with him receiving man of the match honors in the ISC grand final.

Either way, they'll provide the Tigers with some much needed depth and I hope they make it.

You are calling him a dog, yet wishing him success.
Seems odd.

A fringe forward would be a moron if he got a run in FG and threw punches and got sin binned. It would be the end of his FG career.

Damien Cook confirmed to Souths as per members email :

Damien Cook Signs For 2016 and 2017 Seasons
Dear Christopher
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have confirmed the signing of Damien Cook for the 2016 and 2017 seasons today.

Cook, 24, burst onto the NRL scene at the back end of the 2015 season with some energetic yet controlled performances out of dummy half in the Bulldogs’ charge to the semi-finals.

A Helensburgh junior, Cook made his first grade debut with the Dragons in 2013 before joining the Bulldogs in 2014.

Rabbitohs Head Coach Michael Maguire is pleased to be adding Cook to the Rabbitohs’ roster for 2016.

“We’ve been keeping an eye on Damien for a while now having recognised his talents, particularly out of dummy half,” Coach Maguire said.

“He’s gained great experience from what he’s done this year, he’ll add depth to our squad at dummy half, from talking to him you can see he has a professional approach to the game and his training, and we’re looking forward to having him join the team for pre-season training in November.”

I would give my true feelings on us letting Cook go to Souffs, but I'd end up on next years meltdown thread.

We let Hodkinson and Cook go. Two beasts in defense.

WTF FUUUUUUUUUUUU.

What about St George. We chased hard to sign Souths hooker Cameron McInnes, yet now Souths have signed a player capable of taking McInnes' jersey, with that player being someone we had on peanuts a couple years ago and let go. Funny

I never really understood St George Illawarra chasing McInnes when they already had a better hooker in Rein.

I think the person happiest with that signing is Lichaa.

Cook did more in a few games than he did all season.

We lost David Hamilton to the Titans a month or so back, so this is an important get for us

Or Cook who left the Dragons for the Dogs. Funny how the wheel turns.

Peter Mulholland the Dragon recruitment officer is leaving to go to the Raiders, says his job is done and Canberra needs him to replicate the wonderful work he did for the Saints. Methinks Pete's deal with the Raiders was enhanced when he stuck Mary with McCrone

The Tigers NYC captain Matt woods ( not relation to Aaron) has signed with parra for 2016. Don't overly rate him, another Matt Hyland IMO, however it had been said he was joining the Tigers first grade squad next year.
