Matt Balin to wests for 2 years according to fox sports on FB. Can't post the link as I'm on my phone.

I just hope he gets first grade time.

A fantastic bloke and clubman.

The Tigers have signed him as much for his presence and class off the field as on it.

A great signing for a club screaming out for leadership and class.

Should they keep Farah (Doubt it now but you never know) I reckon they could play him at lock.

Balin will be or should be their first choice hooker. For every good game Farrah has Balin has 10. Far more consistent and offers more leadership on and off the field than the diva currently in the tigers 9

Lol. No.

Ballin was reasonable a few years ago. Not so much these days.

That sounds more like Farrah, atleast with Balin you don't get all the extra drama.

The Cronulla Sharks have secured the services of ex-Parramatta Eel Joseph Paulo on a two-year-deal.

Released from the final year of his contract at the Eels, the 27-year-old will link with the Sharks for the 2016 and 2017 NRL seasons.
Head Coach Shane Flanagan said the Paulo signing is one that would bolster the Sharks forward stocks heading into the new campaign.

“Joseph is a skilful player, and he will be a welcome addition to our squad,” Flanagan said.

“We’re putting together a strong roster ahead of 2016, and Paulo will only add to what we’re looking to build at the Club for next season and beyond.”

Paulo debuted with the Panthers – against the Sharks at Remondis Stadium – in 2008, before joining the Eels midway through 2011.

Having played 6 Tests for Samoa (2008-10) and 4 Tests for the USA at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, the Auckland-born back-rower brings an added wealth of experience to the Cronulla squad.
Paulo will join his Sharks teammates as they return to pre-season training on November 9.

From rumours gathered from multiple sites and forums, for Souths to get burgess back they needed grant , mcqueen and Walker to move on.
Titans were rumoured to be interested in mcqueen
Eels were rumoured to be interested in Grant
Panthers were rumoured to be interested in walker
Today we've had

Judging by the lengths they are going to to sign Sam Burgess i think souths will let rival clubs release any of our current players #-o:iwstupid:#-o

Had to laugh at the boofhead they chose to replace Farah as captain when he said "If Robbie stays around I'll be able to look to him for advice" . . . dearie me

Tupou is exactly the type of player the Poms need to sign, his talent of creating broken play with his offloads has been overshadowed by interchange hustle and bustle in Australia. He won't need luck where he's going
