The Cronulla Sharks have secured the services of ex-Parramatta Eel Joseph Paulo on a two-year-deal.
Released from the final year of his contract at the Eels, the 27-year-old will link with the Sharks for the 2016 and 2017 NRL seasons.
Head Coach Shane Flanagan said the Paulo signing is one that would bolster the Sharks forward stocks heading into the new campaign.
Joseph is a skilful player, and he will be a welcome addition to our squad, Flanagan said.
Were putting together a strong roster ahead of 2016, and Paulo will only add to what were looking to build at the Club for next season and beyond.
Paulo debuted with the Panthers against the Sharks at Remondis Stadium in 2008, before joining the Eels midway through 2011.
Having played 6 Tests for Samoa (2008-10) and 4 Tests for the USA at the 2013 Rugby League World Cup, the Auckland-born back-rower brings an added wealth of experience to the Cronulla squad.
Paulo will join his Sharks teammates as they return to pre-season training on November 9.
