Conflict of Interests?

I just want to check if any of the moderators / administrators of this site are also working for the 3P site. If so there would be a huge conflict of interests which could lead to an unbalanced presentation of info leading up to the election.
On a different point I was very disappointed with 3P's selling of their policies / info on Friday night. The lady who stood on the corner of Victoria Rd and O'Connell St just stood there, pamphlets in hand waiting for people to approach her, while the incumbents were more forthcoming.

Parra Future who was representing the 3P group at the time went through the right channels to allow the website to be promoted in here a good 2 website before the website was launched to the public however in answering your question..no the moderators and administrators are not working for the 3P group at all.

Hi George.

In terms of unbalanced presentation of info, this is a forum and as such simply a collection of people's opinions about the game, the club, the elections, and even the weather.

So long as all opinions that people want to post are able to be posted, and able to be seen, then it's up to a reader to sift through for themselves and work out what they think is relevant to what they are looking for, and what they think is not.

If it's balance you're expecting or looking for, no internet forum gives that, nor can it realistically seek to. Enjoy!

Stagger's right Fish, you are getting screwed. I was getting paid 10 times more than that without overtime rates and I cleaned up on that one.

On a serious note, welcome Curious George to League Unlimited. Yes I was once with the 3P team and No, I am no longer part of that team. As for 3P's movements or thoughts or crazy escapades that they are up to, you would have to direct those queries to Sangreal 86 or my lesser paid friend, Fish Eel (poor bugger).

Stagger is correct on another issue as well George in the fact that I am no longer pushing 3P's campaign and am realistically sitting this one out on the fence. As for the reasons why, maybe that would make a good book one day, but not right now and not before the 27th April. I hope you enjoy your time on the forums as much as I have. Take care.

Theres something else rather funny I just figured out about the username. The username has something in common with our good friend Eel4life. Curious and George. Come on eel4life, back off the new individual (not sure if guy or girl but guessing guy). I haven't seen you fire this many questions at people before on the forums and not in real life either off the forums either. Take a chill pill.

I am a long time Season Ticket Holder and Perpetual Member. I did not bring up Parra Future. I think people are extra testy at this time. I simply asked a question as I make a decision who to vote for. I have the incumbents pamphlet but wasn't given a 3P one. The LC Board one gave me info about who was running and why. 3P gave me nothing. I am trying to gather info to make an informed vote. So what if I am Denis Fitzgerald? Are you afraid I name the alleged Football Board member you crossed the floor at their first meeting therefore giving Denis a vote? Loyalty is important and I wouldn't want Denis, 3P or anyone else to sound unloyal to their team, serving only their own agenda.
Parra Future (the fence sitter) I am worried that there may be a sell off of Leagues Club assets after the election. Will 3P give me a guarantee this won't happen?

could be not related to the league election, maybe just a question in general, relevance to theforum im not sure, but he is entitled to ask. I for one wish i could vote, i know which way i want to go, but alas i have to wait another 2 years, i only joined while up at the football club elections.

Will be very interesting to see the outcome of these elections, and if 3p get in what will change. How long would it be before DF got the ass if 3p get in.

Col seriously, mate when i wanna fire up i will, most times on this when i post it is in terms of how the team is playing and in how frustrating it is being a fan of a club who is going backwards and we have been going backwards ever since 2006.

you can check my posts over the past how ever many i have posted and you will see this ... actually a mate of mine got me on this i think 5 years ago and i have no hidden agenda mate ... just want to know more about curious, i have talked to mits on this site and others and they give me great information about the club ...

and if you were Denis i do not think that would scare most of us, i think it would be great if you were at least you will be able to see how frustrated allot of the fans are, i mean the fans of the footy team in how we seem to be going backwards in 2 seasons with a team that was built to win a premiership ...

what ideas have the current PLC have? i mean i have seen the website and it is nothing diff to what i have read in the papers ....
