As far as Australian teams go, this one looks painfully awful when compared to the usual standards.

Agree that Priddis and Campbell should be there. Campbell has clearly been blacklisted as far as representation goes - his performance last night was simply awesome.

As for Priddis, well, what can you say? It was by far one of the most dominant GF performances in living memory, on top of a great season.

Bailey I was hoping would make it, but certainly wasn't expecting it. Good on him for making the tour, but I could probably think of a decent list of players who deserved to go before him.

I agree with your thoughts on Bailey - what about Sing in the centres? We need more speed - not less! Bailey is obviously there for utility value.

Its a pretty disgraceful decision if bailey has been selected as a centre ......i love the blokes passion, but f**k he misses alot of tackles and his speed is ordinary...........IMO flannery or maybe even abraham would have been the more deserved utility backrower/centre!

As for preston, its a shame he didnt make it! His tenacity was only second behind priddis last night ........he missed a few, but he threw himself at everything ................should have toured

Hegarty: meh ...he's a crab, but considering all the other players out, i suppose he got it for his experience! Rooney has been twice the player all season though...

Kearns: VC ?!?!?!?! I dont like this selection one bit! Marty Langs runs are twice as damaging.......kearns is too small and past his best imo!

Simpson: i like it .......when he's firing he's as good as any

Mason: you've gotta be kidding me .....he's a f**king soft cock! The poms will eat him

Waterhouse: deserved.....

........Its poor that priddis didnt tour! .........but it was clear as day that buderus' and wings tickets had been booked since april!

Darren Lockyer (c), Robbie Kearns (vc), Matt Sing, Anthony Minichiello, Luke Lewis, Michael De Vere, Shannon Hegarty, Ryan Girdler, Craig Wing, Craig Gower, Brett Kimmorley, Phil Bailey, Joel Clinton, Danny Buderus, Luke Ricketson, Craig Fitzgibbon, Michael Crocker, Petero Civoniceva, Steve Simpson, Shane Webcke, Willie Mason, Richard Villasanti, Trent Waterhouse.

How come De Vere's there? His only talent is his goalkicking and that's gone off lately. I'd have El Masri in place of De Vere. And with Fitzgibbon ad Girdler available, you don't need either. What we need a good solid, fast centre - but they all seem to be injured.

Priddis should have gone in place of Buderus - he's really the unlcukiest guy of all I reckon.

Bailey is lucky but I think he's there for his youth - to blood him. He'll only play a Test if there's an injury

Mason is overrated - he's either dead lazy or all fired up - and in recent games it's the former.

Kearns is there for his experience - he's actually about a year past his prime.

All-in-all not a bad team but a bit weak in the centres methinks.

BTW - where did you get this - I've been haunting the NRL site and the SMH site for the last 4 hours and there's nothing on either one.

Well considering Anderson has put in Kimmorley, Mason and Crocker why doesn't he go with the trend and give John Cross, Peterson or J. Anderson a shot.

That team is very vulnerable, especially with guys like, Barrett, Johns, Bailey, Tallis, Timmins etc all out injured.
But I still think Mason is the most overrated guy in the whole NRL and to think he has played in more than a couple represenative games.

considering there are other selectors and the fact that BK has never been in a loosing aus team and everytime been the stand out player every single time his selection is warrented.

Geez u talk about a team being vulnerable f**k experience which BK has plenty of comes along way in which this team is currently lacking. He is a good selection considering the weakened team that is touring.

Sure gower deserves to be halfback and im sure he'll play exactly that in some test matches but ffs look at the team - there aint much of a back up if one gets injured

and as for barret and timmins we cant help they are injury prone as for bailey unlucky and crocker and mason- its not like we are disagreeing with you

Bailey's obviuosly got a start for his loyalty to Ando. Couldnt of been for his performance V Parra?
There may be more to Willie's selection too. Its strange he doesnt start for the Dogs but can get a run for Oz. Same could be said for Waterhouse and Crocker.
A few guys can count themselves very lucky and some unlucky. Whilst Priddis had a blinder last night Buderus hasnt done anything wrong and over the season I think he deserves his go.
If Girdler pulls out will they take another centre (Cross or someone?) or will Wesser or Preston get a run?
What country is that Penrith no 4 from-Oz or NZ?Fat a wera -no idea on the spelling of his name but he's a pretty sound player. You could do worse than give him a go.

Kimmorley wasn't the even best halfback in Sydney on form this year and had anyone but CA been coach he would not have made the tour. Gower should been the starting half, Wing deserves to in the squad and could be used as back to Gower. Hooker could then be fought out between Pridis & Buderus.

I think CA has devalued the Australian jersey, it's no longer how you perform on the field but whether your CA's mate. What a wonderful ambassador of this great game!

His adopted son has another 5 or so years left in him, basically has a mortage on halfback when barge-arse is injured, I was under the impression form warrants selection.

Well dah, thats what I said didn't I??? And having a little prick like kimmorley won't do them any good either. It's time anderson got the sack form cronulla and australian coach.
