Through this forum i'd like to pay respects to the retiring Parramatta Captain Nathan Cayless.
I'm sure many words have already been said regarding his retirement but i see this as a means of showing my respects to a great club player.
He leaves Parra with the reward of knowing that he did his best & left nothing else to be gained through his efforts.
It's now up to the next generation of players to carry on his legacy but i'll always remember him as a true champion of the game.

Hey congrats on making a positive thread. By the slow response I am guessing many are still thinking about the crappy year, but with Caylo it's about his legacy and career we should be thinking about, not just this past season.
Caylo doesn't really get mentioned in the same breath as Sterlo, Kenny, Grothe, Price and Hindmarsh but has put so much into the blue and gold and should be recognised as such. Last night should have been a sold out stadium to say good bye to an Eels legend but unfortunately we are all too tied up in our sucky season.

(I have a beer in hand), cheers to Caylo and all your efforts and your try last night was bloody exciting for me and no doubt you. :D

It's sad to see him go out this way. With not a finals game to play. I'm glad he got a try in his final year, at least he has something positive to take out of his final year.

Thank you Cayless for all you have done. All the best in the future.
