I thought it was one of the better comic book adaptions. It isn't a mirror image of the comic but it is a very good adaption and interpretation. It probably ranks up with X-men as far as comic book conversions go.

With all the comic book adaptations coming out lately it's nice to see some taking the original material seriously. I haven't seen the comic but hellboy is another one i liked

another example of a seppo movie that costs multi millions but would have been so much better if they'd spent some on the script to match the effects
