the club will now pay for this "3.30 am party girls" loss of income.
This means that if she doesnt get a modelling gig, she can cite broken nose as the reason. If she gets fat, she can cite stress relating to not getting work due to broken nose. etc etc.
Now look at he photos.
What modelling does she do?
Vetinarians monthly?

Get it f*cken right!!
latu has admitted nothing to anybody.
Greg Pierce is the only one to have stated such.
The bad behaviour he has apologised for is putting himself in a situation at 3.30 am in the morning.

I'll bet my left ball against yours he pleads guilty!

Got the Balls for this bet?

That isn't my statement, it's the Shark's.

Except to Greg Pierce and in his statement to the media where he states that he has let down himself and his teammates with his poor behaviour on Sunday night.

Yes. He has relayed to the media that the stories of both the girl and Latu match.

More speculation.

The club has acted on their statements. He apologised on national television for his actions.

He is not denying that he hit her.

Seems pretty simple to me.
these are your statements, the girls & Pierces , not the clubs, not latus, not the police, not the courts.

Speculation happens when you half read things dopey.

Find an apology from latu anywhere to the girl.
Find a staement from latu anywhere where HE said, i punched that girl.
Find a statement anywhere where she has denies being the first offender.

Never read so much hyped up bullsh!t in a long while.

The club will be paying her NOTHING in the future.

They have paid for her hospital visit as a PR exercise & decent human relations.

If she misses out on any modelling work she would probably have an avenue to PERSONALLY sue the cause of her loss of income.

That cause is Tevita Latu.

Not Cronulla Sutherland Football Club.

As for the personal snipe you made about her looks.
Do you think all people who model anything are all "Perfect"?

Your thoughts on women in this case and in previous issues on this forum don't say much for you at all.

Your a low life.

The paper says he hasn't apologised to the girl on his lawyers advice.

As for the pic...to me it's obvious she has a broken nose.

We need a before and after shot.

Different degrees of brakes can happen.
I broke my nose and didn't know until the doc told me.
I broke my arm and you couldn't tell by looking at it but my cousin broke his and it was shocking.

Seems like it a rare case of his "bark not being as bad as his bite". :)

“I should never have put myself in that situation by being where I was at that time of night"

Thats what he said he shouldn't have done. He never says, "I should never have punched that girl in the face". She has admitted that she pushed him first, Im wondering if she did anything else.

Admittedly he might just be refusing to apolgise to her for a legal reason. An apology would be an admission of guilt. Has Peirce said anywhere that Latu punched her?

Also, if she did knee him in the balls what makes him any worse than her?

Well if that statement from Greg Pierce is not a typo then I think that is ridiculous from Sharks management.

They are not responsible for this incident.

I'm sure if she wants to recoup loss of earnings she would have no trouble personally suing Tevita.

And there is nothing there saying she would make a claim against the club.

So it's not as if the club have been prompted by anyone but themselves.

Trying to talk sense to reefy is like bouncing a tennis ball, carch. No matter what you do or how hard you chuck it against a wall, it just bounces back in the same repetitive manner...

"MR Controversy" is probably jerking himself off right now, he seems to love this crap!

I don't care if she kneed him in the nuts. She is a women. He was harrassing her first for her to push him. He was the instigator!

Don't let reefy brain wash you otherwise!

I take a different view than every one else in the forum.

I dont like what Latu did and it reflects badly on the Sharks but since when do employers have the right to hand out punishments for legal offences?

Isnt that what the courts are for?

They have due process, representation etc for a reason. Punishment should be handed out by judges not by what the media demands or fear of what the media will say

Its a bit hard to play football when you are in Jail

If this sort of thing happened to any one else whould they loose their Jobs?

Just because you play footy and a few hacks make big bucks writing about what you do for the papers doesnt mean you should be treated differently to any one else.

From what I'm lead to believe...
Since all players and clubs signed the "Players code of conduct".

Punching out women in the street is frowned upon.

I once went out with a girl and broke up with her. She was one of mates ex's and he had been dating another women for 18 months. It was still a tender spot with him(and didn't show much respect for the girl her was dating, I guess) Anyway, We broke up after a few months, and I patched things up with my mate. We went out a few times and kept running into her, so we left the venues we were at!

I finally said to her one day "we want to go out where you won't be, so where are you going on Friday night?" She told us some place other than we had planned. I said great, please stay away from "Players"(Workers club at Miranda)... Guess who turned up?... My mate g/f snapped and went up to her and payed her out. Words were exchanged and she layed the best right hook I've ever seen a woman throw. Broken nose and black eyes. She was charged with assault, showed no remorse and was a hairs breath from going to jail. The Judge locked in the cells at Sutho court while he decided if she would go...

She had a clean record and that was the only thing that saved her from a stint...and that was woman on woman and provoked!

He will plead guilty!

yes Carch, but your work contract says the same thing.
Lets say somebody broke into your computer & downloaded porn. Now we can all assume this is not a new thing on your computer, but lets imagine it was.
you then get fired because the site is called "under age" & poilce are called in & you are charged with child pornography.
your company sacks you & you have no income to defend yourself.
After a year long of court cases, it turns out the site had no under age photographs. Also turns out, you werent the person using the machine at the time. it is quite possible, you will have no recourse for lost income or re-instatement.
The fact that you "boss" did the wrong thing & did not investigate things properly & acted pre-maturely, has f*cked your life.

Well said attorney, due process.

I haven't signed any such thing! :) nor will I.

Unfortunately for footy players a fella called Julian made it extremely tough for them to act like they are not part of the community these days.

My alleged porno case you so gently pointed out makes a good argument for what you're saying though.

However ...If I was a betting man I'd bet he'll be lifting luggage onto a conveyor belt in no time.
