I must say south Sydney supporters are blowing up deluxe about Cook or more so the signing of Farah if it means Cook is to leave the club. I never really rated him but maybe he might be the best option at this point in time.

We certainly need an upgrade on what we've currently got lined up to play hooker at First Grade next year.

I don't think it's any co incidence that the remaining 4 Clubs in this years final series have arguably the 4 best hookers in the NRL. Besides Farah.

Melbourne - Smith

Cronulla - Ennis

Canberra - Hodgson

North Queensland - Granville.

Peats is looking good too and you can see what a positive effect he had at the Gold Coast even sharing the duties with Friend.

They won 4 of their last 5 when he toom over at the 9.
He changed their season.
He was playing better than McInnes, who is dreadful, all season but Madge wouldn't budge.
Cook is now the beat option without going overseas for a player.

Souths would have been better off all year starting cook at 9, with carter coming off the bench in 14 to play a bit of dummy half and middle back row. McGuinness is not very good and won't be helping saints lack of points next year
