Just watched it on TV, the trainer was pushing around coopers jaw and he was in heaps of pain.

I'd say hes gone.

Utai is a dirty player he hit him straight on the point of the chin.

The bloke sitting behind me at the game (obviously a Bulldogs fan) made the following comment: "Awww geez what an actor, he only copped him on the chin, that shouldnt be a penalty what are we playing Soccer here?"
I had to laugh and I was almost going to turn around and make a comment, but then I remembered where I was and decided not to. For crying out loud buddy....the rules state that you CANNOT attack the head of an opponent!!!! Then the kids behind him started calling Joey a loser and that his subsequent kick at goal was a fluke, and all the while im thinking......'Hmmmm 5/6 for the evening.....fluke?? Dont think so champion'

I had the same problem.
A few Bulldogs supporter of ethnic background kept swearing non stop, I was lucky to sit with many other newcastle supporters.
He kept swearing continuosly when Cooper got hit, everyone stared at him.
And they kept kicking my chair!

I wouldnt call them supporters.
There was a new player on the Bulldogs side tonight I think, he was short and wore a black head gear.
The bloke behind me calling himself a supporter was making fun of him. Calling him short and other unnecessary/unfreindly remarks.
He should be supporting the club and players, if he is a supporter.

There were a bunch of Bulldogs supporters swearing and carrying on half the night, so another bunch of Dogs fans went and told the police who chucked the losers out. So funny.

There's a common theme here. It's worth pointing out that every club has their ignorant fans... many simply support their team beyond logic and without rational thought about what is occuring.... we've all seen these supporters. Coloured-glasses etc. The Knights have a few too.

But for some reason the Bulldogs seem to have more of these fans than other clubs... perhaps they're just more vocal in their ignorance. What convinced me though was when the Footy Show went out into the streets around Bulldogs' territory and vox-popped a number of Dogs fans about the explosion in the stands a couple of weeks back. One lady said it wasn't Bulldogs fans who were involved. She said it was clearly Broncos fans.

Utai should go for atleast a month. The tackle was reckless not careless. How else can you describe it? Utai hits an opponent who's about a good 25cm taller flush in the chin and breaks his jaw. It was an intentional act of foul play, it wasn't a relex action or anything.

poor coops - I knew it was too good to be true to have THREE options at fullback.... just like that we are down to one again!

I couldn't believe the touchie didn't come in either - that shot was bad. just think, if the Knights hadn't stripped the ball in the next tackle, Smith would probably have let play go on, meaning we wouldn't have even got a penalty out of it. Imagine that, losing a player to one of the worst high shots we have seen this year, and not even getting a penalty....

I for one was suprised Utai wasn't marched... then I remembered who was reffing...

Cooper could very easily be a backrower and he could be quite effective at it. However, we already have a host of backrowers and we need a person in the backline with size and Cooper is our man.

Suprisingly I didnt have any dramas with the dogs fans last night at all, few hecklers at Joey but you get that wherever you go.

Was pleasantly suprised as I expected to cop plenty of sh*t!
