I agree with this, people are making a bigger deal of Corey's recent indiscretions than they actually are.

I don't know why, but for some reason people are coming down super hard on him, if this was an incident completely on it's own in a different year, people would barely be batting an eyelid over it.

I understand why the Roosters want him punished in the same matter, because they feel that anyone who gets done "bringing the game into disrepute" should get at least as much as Pearce did, regardless of whether the actual incident was as bad.

It also depends heavily on what your own personal values are, If you have a fairly liberal attitude towards drugs or sex then you wouldn't think either incident (Norman's or Pearce's) are as bad as they were made out to be. I for one am of that opinion, I said it when the Pearce tape surfaced, that Pearce wasn't punished for the incident himself, he was punished because someone videoed it, then it the press got their hands on it.
