I don't care if Norman is in the same room as someone snorting coke. If he's not snorting it himself then why should I care?

I've been in the same room as some people who were doing coke before. Never tried it myself though. Who am I to judge.

Granted, but it's not a good look for himself or the club. Being in the public spotlight comes at a price. After all, footballers get paid top dollars to throw a ball around in the name of entertainment. Dragging the employer into the mud isn't exactly the reward they needed in justifying his signature and pay packet. It takes skill to be an elite player. It takes even more when it comes to being a role model that growing kids can idolise. If the masses find it acceptable for a player to abuse that privilege then it shouldn't be newsworthy material.

I think all the tattoos that the players have is not a very good look for the game. And also the way the players talk.

It's a different world these days, and for the mega money these guys earn they need to show some sense by their mid-20s. At the verg least he appears ti have lied to the club prior to his guilty court plea? So I'd reduce our original offer to Norman, insert some behavioural clauses (given his apparent lifestyle and its risk to our club brand), and let him go if another club outbids us.

The more I think about this guy and his attitude, the more I think we should just let him go elsewhere and move on for a better offer.

Norman that is (not Pou). He's not got the leadership abilities to be the type of elite half you build a club around.

I don't really believe in no dickhead policies as I think they all get stretched for certain players anyway. Im a lot more liberal than someone like avenger about what sort of off field behaviour might warrant sacking someone, but ...

He may be more trouble than he's worth.

Sure he's gone to a new level this year, and in his last game, but he hasn't really been there for long.

Plus his apparent off field lifestyle isn't really compatible with sustaining that level.

And while some players can do that stuff and still produce, most can't. And he will drag others down with him along the way.

I'd be offering him a strict deal and heavy suspended penalties at best.

I wouldn't be fussed if we cut him loose.

What is beyond doubt is that we can't get in a bidding war for him.

Fair enough, dumb move, still not a sackable offence if you ask me, bonehead move, absolutely.. still no excuse to want him out of the club.
