You Am I and Frenzal Rhomb are talented and sell plenty of albums... always pack out their gigs too.

selling gold albums is a good effort with very limited radio play (specially the earlier days of the rhomb, cant comment on You Am I).
Have you ever seen frenzal play ron? Or jst judging on two songs youve heard on the radio before (doubt you listen to the j's and i dont think they get played on 2day or triple m anymore hahaha).

I could fart, throw a solo on it, send it too triple J and not only would they play it but they would also wank over it like everyother OZ band.

I hate Triple J, i appreciate they're good for OZ music but some of the crap i hear on the station makes me wanna listen too 104.1:lol:.

For Frenzal Romb? i've seen them a few times play at Homebake ( years ago), they put on a good show for the audiences however their style and abilities IMO are hardly inspirational.

If you like complexity and skill in your music they're not the band for you.

Take a listen to some of their bass lines some time ron, some very good bass work in there (especially with their old bassist). Im not going to go out and say they are awesome musicians but they right good tunes and are easy the most fun band to see play.
I dont think saying something as farkingstupid (even if tongue in cheek) as corey worthington sounds better, just slightly disrespectful haha.

i agree, i don't like frenzal rhomb at all for the same reasons... they're popular with the adolescents though.

however they've got more talent in their pinky fingers than corey. at least they're semi-original and play their own sh*t.... most of the time.
