Nope.

Potentially the end of the NRL, and a few clubs too - but the *game* of rugby league will re-emerge after all this.

You can't kill an idea.

Super league's revenge.
Foxtel will need the content so will create it themselves - with the formation of the Australian Super League?

Possibly. Everything is up in the air right now - and if the NRL/clubs really are close to hitting the wall, then I imagine whoever picks up the pieces will be keen to do whatever it takes to get decent seed-money for the new competition from broadcasters.

Lets see if the Cowboys, Broncos, Gold Coast and Storm make the same sacrifices the Warriors made. Im doubting that will happen....then again, I thought they'd can the comp after the locking up of the NZ border.

Bring in the Bears, Newtown, Central Coast, Balmain and Illawarra

And still play 8 games every weekend

They didn’t have a choice, a Collingwood employee tested positive.
I doubt that had anything to do with it. The guy had only just returned from an overseas trip, was in isolation and hasn't had any contact with anyone at the club.

Everyone should tune into tonight's Titans Eels game, it might be the last of the NRL as we know it.

Don’t think the people now living in the old Olympic village would much enjoy sharing their houses with footy players

The nearby hotel perhaps then?

Its a lot to ask of the players but atleast the players and their familys could be with each other and be isolated and the game could go on.

Will be interesting to see how this moves forward. Vlandys said today on the radio that there are contingencies if this happened. Enjoy the eels vs titans people because it may be the last game we could see for a while.
