I can't honestly say that I know much about him. He's played a fair bit of FG for a 24 year old.

I think he'd be a good pick-up at the right price. At his best he can be very damaging, his main problem is definitely consistency and attitude, but he seems to be improving this year?
If we are looking for a wide running second-rower then I think he fits the bill, and hopefully he wouldn't cost much more than 200K.

But equally I think everyone is pinning too much hope on Reni.

I hope he does come good, but its a big ask to expect him to contribute much this year.

Paterson is a huge talent. Can play skilful and tough.

Getting out of him consistently will be the challenge but if he taps into his potential he could be anything.

I agree. I wouldn't be moving heaven and earth to sign him from a monetary point of view at this stage of his career but i think he has a bucketload of ability and with the right attitude could be an origin standard backrower in the near future.
