Great news...

21 years of age, and the sky is truly the limit for these two. Posted a while back, I thought Toby would rep by his mid-twenties, Ryan not far behind. Both big bodies that you can really work with. A couple more pre-seasons under their belt and watch what they turn into.

Get excited, people. These two have massive futures...

Recruitment and Retention staff are working overtime to get signings done which is great to see. The recruitment of the new halfback and middle forward(s) will be a little longer is my guess and when they are announced there is going to be champagne bottles popping everywhere. LOL.

Agree, Flanagan will get them to put on some more muscle in the off season and then with their inherent fitness watch them go

This is the type of effort that promotes strength through the grades. With the recruiting that we have done in the juniors and the beginning of recent success with SGB, we are starting to put together a club. We need to have the Penrith system well and truly locked in prior to the expansion of the NRL any further. With these signings its a damn good start, it has been a great R and R so far.

I like their attitude and consistency. Hopefully they will develop to compliment each other's styles rather than compete.
I guess good coaching (whoa?) And clear develop.ent will tell.
Could be the forwards' version of the Moz twins

If these 2 kids smash it next season and become good solid first graders which is very likely to happen, then we will look back and say thank god we did not end up with guys like May, Lodge, RCG etc and limiting the 2 boys chances of more game time and development. From what I have seen of these 2 boys, they will be long term LOYAL Dragons players.

Great Post SM, it's about time we faced facts, with the impending expansion of the NRL and the constant scrambling for quality players that will become prevalent. We better start rewarding LOYALTY because thats where our marquee's are coming from. Either that or dont expect it back when these kids are gone. TIP,,,,,we better have some concrete watertight contracts happening over the next 3-5 years and our pathways better be up and running and be fully switched on, or else standby Dragons to be shafted right where it hurts.

We still need an alfa prop for 2025 and have plenty of dollars to buy one.

A very quick lock who can defend well would also prove to be very useful.
