Could WT appoint a coaching director?

I know we are nickle and dime outfit but would we have the ability to appoint a director of coaching over and above all the existing grade coaches? I think Taylor needs help and the overall direction of the club is in danger of crashing.

I still remain a fan of Nathan Brown and wonder if we could make him an offer to bring him into the fold? He is under-utilised at the Storm and would be open to a better gig. Maybe not Brown but Taylor and the club needs help.

Steve Folkes as coaching director

He can show JT how to be a proper defence coach

Did you say, "in danger". Mate, it crashed about 5 years ago and I doubt it will be turned around in the next decade.

However we want to look at it, anybody in WT body corporate should be worried about the direction the club is going in in regards to competitiveness on the field and progression through the grades for the juniors to the senior ranks,. We are blooding players much too early and the both they and the team is suffering as a result. I think the whole coaching staff and recruitment officers need to be under an experienced first grade coaching director to give guidance. Lets face it Taylor, as our most senior coach. prior to the WT gig was an assistant coach only at successful coaching staff at the Roosters, after bombing out at Souths and Parra.

I think he is floundering.

No coaching director , just the right head coach in the first place .
Anyway all the info they need will be in the report Brian Smith was Paid to do last year ;)
You know the one that was about anything and everything to do with coaching etc and nothing to do with sacking Potter. Funny how we are up shit creek and it is never refered to anymore from the club.

Yep, they got what they wanted- shafted Potter and kept the disgruntled players happy. To what end though? If this is the intended consequence- god help us...........

100% correct. Just put a coach in charge who has some idea.

If the board can't identify the glaringly obvious fact that Taylor is a very challenged coach who is a complete embarrassment then the nrl may as well do everyone a favour & f**k this rabble of to Perth.

I'm fed up with Taylor's never ending & deluded spiel that we are heading in the right direction & how we are continuing to improve !!!! He must have vision impairment whereby he can only see the ladder as it's inverted.

He is a moron. Do you think he will learn from this season ? If not we should just sack him.

Love to see Folkes in plus Gallen in for two years along with some other hard nosed merkins.
Guys who understand hard work and personal accountability. This joint needs to toughen up.

At the moment its princesses with no accountability on inflated contracts and fairy tales of a promised future.
