LolHi Albert.
My point is, if sport is about an entertaining match day experience, the SL match with its crazy attacking style combined with its singing passionate fans is far more entertaining than most NRL matches.
LolHi Albert.
Escare with the stuff up to gift Hull FC a try
I agree. The whole package, fans, , singing, stadium music, attacking style etc was far beyond anything any NRL cub can offer for a match day experience.Drove down from Sydney for this match and was fantastic! The chanting plus crazy attacking flair of SL teams was awesome to see! Only 12 K went but it felt like over 30 K!
Bit sloppy at times both teams but the majority of the match was high intensity and great quality
I thought the best French fullback was an Egyptian Australian?
No that was definitely Escare’s stuff up and it was a grubber not a high ball. He should of left it for the guy coming forward onto it. Just admit he had a poor gameIt was another Wigan player who stuffed up Escare's take of the high ball.
The atmosphere may have been good but that doesn’t change the fact the game itself was disappointing.I was at the game last night.
I’ve been to 100s of NRL games and that SL game had a better atmosphere than every one of those NRL matches. The Hull fans could really make some noise.
In fact it had a better atmosphere than any match, in any sport, I’ve ever been to in Australia involving Australian clubs. It was great fun.
Albert? NEVER!!!No that was definitely Escare’s stuff up and it was a grubber not a high ball. He should of left it for the guy coming forward onto it. Just admit he had a poor game
I never attend matches purely for the game. I attend for the whole package. If last night is any indication, SL beats NRL every time and SL should bring rugby league to the world and not the NRL.The atmosphere may have been good but that doesn’t change the fact the game itself was disappointing.
OMG really? You're dilusional like the OP.I never attend matches purely for the game. I attend for the whole package. If last night is any indication, SL beats NRL every time and SL should bring rugby league to the world and not the NRL.
Yeah well for me, I would rather watch a good game of footy then listen to the crowd play sing songI never attend matches purely for the game. I attend for the whole package. If last night is any indication, SL beats NRL every time and SL should bring rugby league to the world and not the NRL.
Yes. The skills were lower with the SL players but the whole match day experience was superior in every way. Significantly superior.OMG really? You're dilusional like the OP.
Game wasn't any worse than plenty I saw in the NRL last year, get over yourself.Yeah well for me, I would rather watch a good game of footy then listen to the crowd play sing song
Most people want a complete package of experiences. The NRL competes with cinemas, concerts, the beach, bowling alleys etc for family attention. Standing on a dirt hill in the rain with a quiet crowd barely appeals to anybody.Yeah well for me, I would rather watch a good game of footy then listen to the crowd play sing song
Get over myself? All I said was the game was a disappointment. I never said it was the worst game I’ve ever seen or anything like that.Game wasn't any worse than plenty I saw in the NRL last year, get over yourself.
The atmosphere at all the games I’ve been to have been great. Most people want a complete package of experiences. The NRL competes with cinemas, concerts, the beach, bowling alleys etc for family attention. Standing on a dirt hill in the rain with a quiet crowd barely appeals to anybody.
Regardless, the NRL will never match what Wigan v Hull FC could as Australian fans are simply too passive.
There were 1000s of English fans. Hull had over 2000 travel over although it looked like they had even more. The atmosphere at all the games I’ve been to have been great.
And wouldn’t most people at that game have been aussies.
