When the half has no direction or skill to carve up the opposition or pin them down in the corners our forwards waste valuable energy tackling b/c of poor field position so we fatigue quicker than most teams, then lose games by 1-7pts like we have done many times this year. So disappointing to know that there are others who could do a better job at 7 but Flanno's holding this club to ransom. I'm getting really frustrated with him. I wish KF gets injured in training and is out for the year. I'm sick of seeing him run on the field and play like a clown - clueless, not knowing what to do and when he tries to do a dummy and run gets hammered straight away
spot on about the fatigue... forever chasing down KF's 5th tackle uncontested catching practice option.. easy yards made before our defense gets there ... that's routinely penetrated anyways from our flat-footed marking. Week in week out...

Alas… I fear for the future. We’re all told we have great juniors coming through but I think a lot of them will jump ship when offered deals by other clubs…. Z they will become totally disillusioned by the losing culture of the whole club seeing no prospect of making finals football for some years to come… the younger generation are impatient for instant results…..you’ll start seeing these young guys leave from the end of this season. We are light years away from finals …. How you can let players like JDB go and keep the likes of Lawrie, Klemmer, etc is beyond my comprehension. Having a shiny new centre of excellence will make f**k all difference…
NSW Cup as a feeder club for the Scum. Within the next ten years.
Good thing too - I'm tired of watching these goons pi$$ away the footballing legacy of Gasnier, Provan, Smith, Changa, Kearney, Reddy, Lord Ted etc etc
Watching Saints could always be tense, but you could always applaud the effort of the skills of at least some players even if we copped a flogging. But since 2012 the coaching and (largely) the player group has been dog$hit and it's only going to get worse.
Dead club walking.

Again tonight same shit each week defence 12 points down in the first 10 minutes soft tries. Now flanno finally gets it he said it after the game .
So why why is Dean Young still employed and not sacked Mr defence coach is untouchable get him to speak after the games explain why Dragons dont turn up each game and let in SOFT tries that was embarrassing tonight .
Whats with the short kick off has no advantage and still we keep doing it each game dumb and shit kicking game all season 2025 all over .
Yes, you, the head coach and everyone else that knows anything about our game can see the problems:
1. No line speed in defense.
2. Trusting mates to the left and right of you in defense.
3. No arm or shirt grabs.
4. Always put the opposition down on the ground.
5. Contest all high kicks in defense or attack.
6. Halves should kick to the corners with his winger and center sprinting to take the kick receiver.

The good o'l days, when we always had star players who entertained us. Most times we could count on a Saints win or a very close game.

Gave up watching and caring quite a few weeks ago. We’re still paying for 12-13 years of inept management unfortunately. I feel for Flanno. Fixing the roster and bad stench this place has built over that time is so depressingly hard to turn around quickly.
Hard to imagine things improving without some seriously major signings, particularly in the front row. Sad times.
Of course the bastards who oversaw this decline are all still in their positions, totally unaccountable and getting their undeserved pay packets. Shame on them.

How guler and lawrie got picked over LPT and nick T is beyond me a young fit smart playing giant and another young fit beast that can cover forwards and backs compared to fat and slow and his mate that had one run for 9 m a couple of weeks ago it's just bewildering WHY!!!!
Who knows why ...... This is from the Presser Flanno said ....... " we want to play our style of footy " ( what ever the F**K that is ) .........

I will continue to watch them go around till the end of the season , however after that I will be calling it quits - enough is enough . One can only stomach so much .

If only there was a cloud on the horizon with a silver lining
then there would be hope for the team , however there is not . Perhaps those golden years of the Saint’s inured me against defeat , but to be supporting a team that appears to have no true semi final aspirations season after season and worst - no direction from the board of the club itself is simply to much to bear .

Can no one in the club see that our defence and kicking game have been the problem all year….what really concerns me is that the people charged with taking us forward have not acknowledged these weaknesses and /or have not been able to improve them….. this gives me very little confidence about next season and beyond
Purely amateur.
Zero attention to detail. These are obvious weaknesses in our game and we see the same thing roll out each week.
All collect their huge pay packets each week.

Sick of it.
I'm tired of being 'patient'

2 years we were told. Give Flano two years to get results, just like we were told the same from the amateurs before them.

There's always some reason to believe 'we will get better next year 'and before you know it we are back at square one.
A few hacks to play out their career as traffic cones, a few juniors chances are we will see become worse players as they are asked to do the job of veteran players because we can't sign anyone.
Here we are at square one.

The fact that I had to see Blake Lawrie in the top grade again, wearing a jersey that was bursting at the seams and struggling to cover his guts and he was sucking the big ones in after 5 minutes, shows just how shit our squad is. As usual, so slow, laterally poor and man handled, turtled and then slow play the ball. This slow play the ball is killing our chances to score. He was also taking 2 hitups per set in the 20 metre red zone.
With the unavailability of Hame Sele, TCouch, RCouch, Dylan Egan and Eisenhuth with an already sub-par squad, means that Cake will play way more games than the coaching staff wanted from him.

Yet the coach you defend has prioritised Lawrie's selection over the last 4-5 weeks instead of LPT. Any thoughts on that?

After watching the Dragons vs Cowboys,Broncos vs Eels what a difference Ryles has made to the Eels defence and overall attitude.
They turned up for each other and you can see that something good is developing with a well balanced squad.
Taken him 12 months to do with the Eels what we have not been able to do in 10 years and more, and still remain in quick sand.
f**k some people have short memories. What about our attitude & turning up last week ? And this with a depleaded side.

Every week you clutch at more and more straws with your positive spin.

In a round where the underdogs are getting up or getting close, we lose to a team beneath us in a very winnable game.

It's disgraceful when you'd think they'd be the most desperate to jag a win for themselves or the fans at least.

No one on this forum is giving up on the team despite what they say.

We all feel it...me more than ever, but we will all be back next year watching again.
Unfortunately we are hooked.
I do find myself watching less, caring less, feeling more numb these days though.

Having said that, there's no doubt a myriad less hardcore fans who have become disillusioned with the club and don't support anymore.

They'll mostly come back when we start winning.
I don't want to be one of those fans.
