I seriously cant understand the bullsh*t in the media over the past week about how hot its going to be and how the warriors aren't going to be able to handle it....

They are fit, professional footballers. A bit of heat isn't going to make that big a difference. I am sure the cowboys aren't going to be handling too much better than the warriors anyway

Fair dinkum, what is the issue here? If an extra break, or a drinks break at quarter intervals are required... they are required. I couldn't give a rats ass what Peter Parr has to say on the issue, it's an issue of duty of care on the part of the NRL and a legal issue of potential tort to ensure the player's well being. That's their obligation, it's not even debateable under any serious context so I have to think either Parr is not verse with the legalties of occupational health and safety or he's trying to have a laugh when he's the only one who's laughing.

Union has used this rule for a few years, OH&S is only going to continue to become more and more important so if a claim was lodged for it and backed up by medical opinion the NRL would have to agree to it to prevent an issue of potential tort.
