i watched it live and I nearly coughed my lunch up............................ at this point in time showing some humility would have been the correct thing to do, all he did with his comments was do more damage to their already tarnished image. The other comment he made 'we have been through tough times before' made me laugh, and this is not a shot at you storm fans, but that club from the start was given a pretty decent leg up in regards to the players they were allowed to have from the folding mariners and reds. The storm out of all the clubs in the NRL has had probably had the least tough times, obviously the last 3 days excluded, trying to play the victim this afternoon was pretty pathetic and he pretty much confirms my thoughts that he is an absolute f**kwit of a human being.
