In a way , shows we have spread out our individual performances where everyone has contributed along the way and when needed. No one or two have stood out greatly like in other nations

Simply said , would prefer us to be a champion team winning trophies, rather than any Wisden team of champions, who win FA with their respective country..

I thought or assumed Clarke was already in the HOF. Considering he retired 10 years ago.

Anyway he may be a prick of a bloke but he could certainly bat.

I dont think many team mates deal with him anymore either so the accolades won't be as forth coming as it probably deserves

Yep…. Think the test team was pretty much spot on, keeper was the one imo that could have gone a couple of ways… Head was behind the middle order players picked, Henry and Bumrah were brilliant but overall your attack is the best easily

Tom Curran was recalled but that's BS.

That's 100% out the ball wasnt dead just because Curran was with the pixies and waltzed out of his crease.

I am not sure what Flower is carrying on for and made them withdraw the appeal

WTF? What a shit show...

How could the umpires not immediately give that out? And how could he and Flower possibly argue? He wandered out of his creased before the ball was even back with the keeper FFS

And then who recalled him? Wasn't Pooran, by his reaction...and only the captain (or umpire ofc) can withdraw an appeal/recall a bat?

It's about what that comp deserves to be fair
