Wow - will be interesting to see how this pans out - classy guy, and seems he's doing everything the right way - the time away from kids must be hard - I guess he might be available home summers, and will play IPL - hope he doesn't take too much heat for this, and people should remember that NZ cricketers are relatively poorly paid

great outcome for him and his family, and I can't blame him - but not great for a test or ODI NZ fan

True, but he has been a great servant for the kiwis and is 33yo. Time to look after no1

Could have stepped back couple of years ago I guess

So NZ is playing t20s in the Caribbean and I don't think anyone in the world cares. Is t20 approaching burnout? I think the problem is India can't get enough of them so the rest of the world has to go along with it.

Hey guys

Need some help regarding the 2001 Aust v India test series, in India.

Was there dodgy LBW given not out when Harbhajan was batting? (or anyone else) in the 3rd test. They needed 155 to win and just got there with 2 wkts to spare

Any links to this would be helpful
Cheers

There is a vid on YouTube with highlights. Didn't watch the whole thing, but there is a missed runout with Harbhajan batting with only a few to get.

He had a pretty dodgy hattrick in either the 2nd or 3rd test where I think 2/3 were bad calls from memory.

On a different note...Steve Waugh said Ricky Ponting (Yes he was bowling) had Laxman out plumb before lunch in the second innings of the Kolkata test. Would have been a huge turning point. Potentially wins us our 17th straight match and the series.
