Wireman just doesn't need an excuse to bag Messi, was Messi's fault his coach was out of his depth, his fault Otamendi was found out, his fault Demichallis is rubbish, his fault that Di Maria does not pass the ball and does not track back to defend.
IMO Argentina are missing a good distributor, Di Maria is a self fish ball hog, Msh is there for defence and Maxi is solid at best, they need a Riquelme to bring Messi into play. Messi was getting the ball way too deep because there's no one in that team that can give him the ball in abit of space or even one on one with a defender. Argentina should have taken Zanetti and Cambiasso, and maybe even Riquelme. Definately should have started Samuel

I actually stuck up for Rooney, he had no one giving him the ball period. Ronaldo had opportunities but always looked to go himself and seemed to be after individual glory more than anything else

Fair enough, but it was more a comment towards Ridders and Hybrid, who have done nothing this world cup other than say how bad Rooney and Ronaldo were and how totally awesome Messi is.


With regards to Ronaldo, I think it is a lack of faith in his teammates. At United when he was with Tevez and Rooney he knew he had quality around him. For Portugal he hasn't got the same support and feels he needs to do it by himself. i can't comment about Mardrid but i'd rather have Higuain in the middle than Liedson. Yes its a very arrogant attitude, but to be the best you have to have that arrogance. Some just show it more than others.
