Cause Timmims is in crap form and Waterhouse is in blistering form.

Thats why he should be selected.

No other reason. It should be based on form and not past.

Waterhouse has not had the greatest of seasons. Greg Alexander said that on radio about Trent.
Remember that Trent would not have made the tour last yr had 19 players not pulled out.
Just because Waterhouse had a good game vs the Dragons in the 31-30 semi doesnt mean he gets a plane ticket.
IMO their are very very few quality locks in the game today.

Charlie, Waterhouse has played brilliantly the last 2 months. If you watch his games. his defence, his attack has been great.

Better than timmims, and that was even more highlighted by that 31-30 win.

Waterhouse should have got the run. He has age and form on his side. Sheet..Id pick Ashley Harrison before Timmins.

Agreed. The 'Timmins can play 5/8 or centre' arguement don't wash with me either. There is enough depth at centre or 5/8 for it not to be an issue...and fi the run into strife, Darren Smith will throw his hat in the ring

If there were worried about 5-8, then why take scott Hill.

They have SCott Hill, don't need another 5-8 or Centre.

Obviously the blind selectors misplaced Waterhouse's phone number, because that is the only way he couldn't get selected.

Well it may well be the fact that he has played all of 5 games where he has played well this year. Add to that the fact that he is purely a lock-forward, and Timmins can play 5/8 or even centre. He got dropped from Origin becuase he was rubbish, so can you tell me why he would be ahead of Timmins who regradless of how much footy he has played, still is one of the top players in the game

You are blinded by media/journalistic bias

Now that you mention it, Harrison has out-performed Waterhouse this season.

In fact, I'd hasten to say that if Ashley had stayed with Brisbane & displayed his 2004 form he'd be an Origin certainty...

It just so happens that he is one of the nciest footy players you will ever meet. very sociable with the fans. just like Mozza in that he is willing to stop and take time for the fans. Please dont pretend to know what kind of person he is based on abit of niggle he displays on the field.

Every player talks to the fans its a part of their contracts.

Whats up with Fletcher? Unless he is injured id pick him for the job. Hes twice the player that crocker or timmins will be.
