Cronk is on around $650K on the Cap and another 200k outside (Harvard business course).
Roosters will be using most of it upgrading players, no big name replacements.

One of those players that became the best from hard work, not athleticism or coasting on talent.

Better character out of all the Melbourne big names. A winner.

Yeah same thing I said to a mate today. One of the least hated from that error, along with Dallas Johnson, he was a legend.

That was the other game that mattered.

I must say Cronk Grand final games have been .... underwhelming.
Orford
Townsend
Both got him.

The game against the cowboys was a write off .
No Thurston and the cowboys were completely gassed two games before the GF
Even last year
He may as well have not even played ... he did pretty much nothing on account of injury.

Yep
He is shit.
:grinning:

2007, 2009 and CCM in 2012?

The thing that stands out for me is that he was never a halfback, which is probably the most specialised position on the field. He worked hard at those skills he needed to develop and became the game's best at certain points in his career.

I'm sure he could have become a world class hooker or maybe even centre, if his career ever had to go that way.

How is your second day of 'work experience' going young fella?

GF appearances in 2006, 07, 08, 09, 12, 16, 17 and 18. Wiining 5

Missed finals only in 2010 due to cap issues but still won 14 games which was a top 8 finish before penalties.

SOO 22 games for Qld winning 72.73%.

Australia 38 games winning 89.4%

Immortals get picked on less.

lol.. Even I wouldn't suggest Cronk was on $650K. The Harvard business course was around $30K and it is only paid as a reimbursement against course fees. I expect his salary on the cap would be around the $900K mark.

Anything before that 2012 GF win means absolutely nothing. Three premierships. Massive flog, but a good player.
