Same way the geniuss on the Roast were talking about Queensland being too old now because NSW won a game in NSW by 4 points.

Even after Gus made his love public for the Queensland players and their "Origin plays"?

I have a notion; the Sunday Roast is a physical representation of the collective opinions of this website, I.e. they are fickle.

Yes indeed we are a myth. I have no problems with being a myth, even if we are currently the 5th myth of the competition.

I am thoroughly enjoying supporting the myths.

Saw the game just now. For a mythical team we were certainly present last night.

The punters must agree with RLForever. Sharks are still 9th favourite to win, behind the Warriors (who are now 6 points behind them on the ladder), and way behind the Tigers who are still a game behind the Sharks.

Odds from Sportingbet right now:
Melbourne Storm 3.25
Manly Sea Eagles 6.00
Wests Tigers 7.00
Brisbane Broncos 7.00
Canterbury Bulldogs 9.00
South Sydney Rabbitohs 11.00
North Qld Cowboys 15.00
New Zealand Warriors 17.00
Cronulla Sharks 21.00

I reckon the Sharks odds will shorten automatically next week when the Bye has us firmly away from 9th still and a good shot at top 4, and then we play a run of teams in the bottom 8 (after the Broncos). Melbourne shortened their odds from last week after losing, Sharks lengthened after winning!
If we win a string of those we might go to a more reasonable $15 or so.

I think we have started favourites with the bookies in 2 of our 13 matches this year (one of which we lost).
