Fmd you so dumb

thats the normal length of stories on the program.

Yet you are so brilliant to believe that in 6 minutes the whole realities of what went on can be revealed and not slanted by the ABC. Come in spinner.:sarcasm:
I was interviewed ten years ago about a high profile relative in a local paper(The Leader) by a journo. The interview lated 45 minutes, and the story was few lines with so many inaccuracies it was laughable.

So the ARLC will force a relocation on the club(bearing in mind the prior disasters with the Dogs and the Storm),completely ignoring 10,000 members most lost to the code, the 3,000 juniors perhaps many giving the game away, the 200 sponsors that remain with the club, the $300m development that will eventually make the club among the strongest in the future, ignore the crowd drawing local derbies with St George, ignore the huge participation of soccer in the Shire and leave the door open to another codes.
Ignore the restructuring put in place by Cullen, ignore Noyce building the place up.
yep that is forward thinking. Its called doing a Nth Sydney leave an area and invite your opposition in for a party.

1 - where were these relocations?

2 - I think Saints would march straight back in.

Well the NRL sent in Auditors to check it out. It was from their report that the fine was levied.

If there was any evidence that it was deliberate they would have picked that up one would imagine.

The source of the money, the circumstances and the records were all provided to the NRL.

I wonder if they were shown the emails abc showed last night, pretty damning really from the way the guy was putting across that he had been paying the player. Do you really believe it was an administration oversight rather than an attempt to deliberately cheat the salary cap?

Are you serious, NRL auditors and reality - NO.

Your opinion PR, believe what you want.

Same for the other death riders.

Frankly, I think it's safe to say most Sharks supporters have reached the point where we don't give a rats arse about haters, journo's, opinions etc, etc.

Call us what you will, we will happily give the finger and carry on.

Up Up Cronulla

Just maybe, if there was one non-club "club" account there might have been others. FFS, how did Dank get paid?

The account was not created by the club.It appears to be a flanno initiative. He did all the hard yakka to get the equipment, because the club did not have the bread to do so.

The integrity unit chef will sus out the details.Any payments would stick out like dog's b*lls.Noyce does not have an issue and welcomes the check. .

I have no idea whether Dank was to be paid, was paid, volunteered.Remember the club was hardly Mayfair on the monopoly board ,more like the financials of the boondocks.

I do and I did heard about it; but, at the time Cronulla said it was an oversight. The point PR is making (I think) is that it was a deliberate action to cheat the salary cap. Big difference, Yes/No.

Cullen said how much of a shambles the joint is as far as finances and book keeping is concerned.

Yet .... There was a magic bank acct with secret money for one thing.
And ... Some bloke ( who only decided to go public after his contract was not renewed ) decided
to tell about these 3rd party payments .
Is it true or is it not true that
every club in the comp have 3 rd party payments for there top players?

You do know Cullen didn't bother showing up for board meetings on more than one occasion?

Yet ... He is now going on TV saying what he said.

Bit f**king rich.

He didn't even want to be there .
He even admitted it .

I just can't work out why he would do the interview.
Why?

1.That's my point, there were no relocations for those clubs. Therefore precedents for bringing the game into disrepute have happened, penalties handed down,no relocations or expulsions.

2.Saints may well march straight back in.The problem is getting the support of thousands of dedicated Sharks supporters who were brought up on the team, ditto juniors. Good luck to that. They would not be utilising the sharks field one would surmise.

One word Remember Centralcoast Eagles.

If there was one off-site bank account, is it beyond the possibilty that there was others for the supplement program. It is a legit question.

Good question Magpie

Who knows?

How many bank accounts are held by coaches, staff, acquaintances, family, etc etc across the NRL and what are they used for? All speculation.

I think the critical point is that if Dank was paid it wasn't by the Sharks. He was not employed by the club. Therefore what ever did go on was not sanctioned by the club.

There is the big difference between Cronulla and Essendon.

You do know it was the sharks who alerted the nrl to the breach don't you?
It was months and months ago.

Don't you follow the news?

Appears they are set in their minds,an use the news when it suits or ignore it when it doesn't.
Noyce even had a discrete shot at the ABC suggesting some media outlets need to join dots to get a story. The salary cap stuff up,as you noted given to the NRL.
The Flanno situation re gym equipement is hardly news, the account was and should have been handled better. So the guy by virtue of the bank account ,like any responsible person ,has an account where all monies paid and received are listed by statement.
The ABC made inferences, that quite frankly at times leaves them open.Their report in the main was a rehash .

Add this to the idiocy of the media

SBS reported that the Bank Account is believed to have been used to make cash payments to Paul Gallen!

Haha FMD

Of course it's a legit question and I have no problem with that view.
But I put it to you,if the ABC were so clever with their investigative work, why have they not found additional accounts? And why the hell would a club stone motherless poor, have additional accounts with money flowing around?
And I further note having an offield bank account, with payments made to a certain person would draw the crabs. Not saying another individual could not have done it ,but highly unlikely IMO.
With all the leaks that have been swirling around in the media,I find it remarkable that none have established such accounts.

I don't understand how these present and ex-Cronulla players can keep quiet about what it was that they were injected with in '11. How can they not be concerned about the long term side effects. These players are young men and most have young children.
