These are just a few...

The 42-20 defeat of Brisbane in the Qualifying Final of 1999
The two thumpings of Newcastle in 2001 and 2002
The 52-10 thrashing of Bulldogs in 2001
The 34-18 win over Parramatta in 2000 to farewell ET and Mitch Healey from Toyota Park - that was such a great atmosphere - Awesome!

There are many more more for me.. hehe but I can't name them all here.

super league semi over canberra was great too
ET and mat rogers = unbelievable

Yes. I loved that match - it was the first semi against Canberra wasn't it? We played them twice at Shark Park those finals.

Classic commentary from Rabs: "Now here is his son (Rogers) running around ET's ankles like a whippersnapper shouting 'my ball Poppy!'"

Great combo between Richo and McKenna in that match. Thats the vintage Sharks era in my lifetime. It's a pity we aren't allowed to openly admit that Super League actually featured some good games.

The game we beat Parra 25-0 in the late 70's-1980?
Dave Chamberlain had a blinder and the Sharks new lock forward Kurt Sorenson ran down Eric Grothe and saved a try.
Another favourite was also the day Steve Rogers beat Parra by himself. The media beat it up all week as Rogers V Cronin. Rogers had a field day. He did a similar thing a couple of years later at Cumberland Oval. It was 18 or 20 nil at half time. In the end we fell in but Rogers was the difference again that day.

That was 1979, I think Foz. From memory Eric Grothe ran about 60 metres from the kick off. It was a wet day, I was standing watching from the back of the hill.

I remember in 1978, we beat Parra at Cumberland Oval. We led 20-4 at half time. In the second half Parra got back to 18-20, on the back of several Cronin scrum penalty goals. We also thrashed the Dragons 25-10 at Kogarah Oval. We won the first seven games of the season. It was great being a Sharky fan back then.
