Watching the roosters replay right now and I am really struggling to see where these 3000+ empty seats are.
Can someone that was sitting on the eastern side of the ground tell me if there were a whole heap of empty tickets on the top level of the western stand? I honestly could only see a few empty seats in the corporate boxes at the southern end from my seat today. Every last bay was full.
The cynic in me thinks that maybe the roosters have kept a couple thousand in their back pocket to tack on to a lower drawing game later in the year
Maybe it was 3000+ broken seatsWatching the roosters replay right now and I am really struggling to see where these 3000+ empty seats are.
Just proves that roosters fans are the biggest bandwagoners on earth

Even more puzzling is the apparent 6k empty seats at the warriors v stor
Ever heard of Parramatta?
Some Melbournites still go ape at the fact that the government built a rectangular ground with public money, but seriously, how many of the numerous stadiums that have been built or upgraded for AFL have (a) been filled and (b) been used by other sports on a regular basis?

I was at the game and I thought the crowd was 44,000 plus but my mate estimated 41,000, so I can live with the figure.
What I can't fathom is the cost of food and drinks at the venue.
$7 for a beer, $5.30 for soft drink, $5 for a sausage roll. We didnt have a pie because it was too much of a "gourmet" price!
I also thought the lack of a Black Hawk helicopter lessened the occasion!
I also spoke to other Roosters fans and all were agreeable to the Sydney Roosters being called the East Sydney Roosters. Something the marketers of the club should seriously look at.
Ever heard of Manly?
How did members look? But the cynical answer is possible.
I swear they jacked up the beer price for yesterday. It's usually $6 i think, or maybe I haven't been paying attention.
Oporto remains the best food (and best value) available in the SFS.
Manly fans don't bandwagon. They straight up refuse to cross the bridge, how would you even get a bandwagon?
Is Brookvale sold out yet for tonight?
It should be.

Agree.
There shouldn't be a spare ant-hill or rusted old seat left in the place.

I think this argument is funny considering the only fans that turn up to Brookie in any reasonable numbers are Souffs fans. Noone else is prepared to cross the spit bridge.
