The media seem more intent on reporting the Barba bullshit than pumping up the minor premiership showdown.

I didn't realise that level 6 is on sale already for friday night. A bit more confident now that it will 40k, any more than that is really dependent on how many of our fans turnup. 25/10k souths/roosters is my minimum expectation plus stadium members, say 5k of those

I hope we can better our best ever home crowd versus chooks, which is 43,469 set in 1967.

This game deserves the crown (for now).

I like how they are selling level 6 as cat two as well. Much better than selling the front of level 6 as one (as the map indicates).

16300 or so. but bought them on sunday morning

If 16300 was the PAX on Sunday... Let's be conservative and say by today (Tuesday)... Pax would be up to 18k.

18k pax
16k souths tickets
10k roosters supporters
5k ANZ members
5k walk-up

That equals 54k.

But let's be conservative and say 50k.

If the above is close to correct Friday night should crack 50k

It's great to hear so many neutrals will be comin along. Another reason why SFS and ANZ work better for the game than Parra Stadium or OKI Jubilee. So easily accessible.

What sort of crowd are cowboys fans expecting this week? imo should be large considering its the final game for Bowen and also Benji.

Should we expect 18-20k?

Broncos V Doggies 28k
Souths V Easts 42k
Dragons V Warriors 9.5k
Storm V Titans 15k
Cowboys V Tigers 16k
Manly V Penrith 14k
Knights V Parra 22k
Canberra V Sharks 8k

Knights game will get well over 22K. Its old boys day and the final game for Danny Buderus.

I'd expect it to be closer to 28K for those reasons alone.

Rugby League crowds are 50 times better than AFL crowds. You just gotta love the atmosphere. No 1 vrs No 2, should be fantastic.

Level 6 at ANZ stadium is about as exciting as standing behind the posts at Campbelltown stadium on a cold Saturday night in June. Might as well stay home and watch the game on TV.

If i hear another another thing about Ben Barba i'm going to cry. There should be a law passed down against the media for stressing the same old off field issues to death :sarcasm:

-nobody gives a crap where Ben Barba ends up
-nobody gives a crap about Ben Barba's off field issues
-nobody gives a crap about Ben Barba anymore
-he's had his 1 year and he's old news now, lets move on

Don't understand this criticism. Level 6 is a great view unless you ate right at the back, say maybe 2 thirds of the level are decent seats. I have sat in the rafters at old trafford and it Is really no worse than that. Would far rather sit in level 6 than the GA areas at either end

Agree. Went to a lions game against geelong about 4 years ago with maybe 32k in attendance. The atmosphere was very sterile, most if the crowd seemed to 45-55 year old expats from Vic, whatsmore barely half seemed to be lions fans and I recall seeing as many Victorian club fans than lions
