Give up, they are an NL1 side and were playing in a pre-season friendly against a club that will have brought little if any travelling support. Many teams are lucky to get half their average for a pre-season game, I don't think it was a bad effort for Celtic.winnyason said:good crowd:sarcasm: superleague standard
Celtic averaged 600 less than Leigh last season, and that was a division below without the travelling support from the likes of Cas and Widnes. Celtic averaged over 1000 last year in only thier second year of existance. I don't know where you've got the figure of 500 from.winnyason said:mate with all due repect they have no where near figures of your leigh, widnes, salford , whitehaven sure they are looked at as one of those expansion teams but this is a good crowd for them they only averaged around 500 last year superleague is out of the question.

How many years have Widnes been around compared to Celtic? Widnes were playing Wigan who are a local rival and will have brought a large amount of travelling support, Widnes only averaged around 3,000 last year in National League One and had been in Super League for several years previously. I honestly cannot believe that some National League fans are so hostile and bitter towards Celtic Crusaders.dibviking said:compare this to the over 5,000 figure that Widnes got on sunday for a pre-season trial game then Celtic need to do alot of work.

What are you talking about? How is four years not several? Where have I said Celtic don't have a lot of work to do? Do you have no relevant points of your own so you have to repeat mine?dibviking said:i think theres only 1 person whos bitter here my little friend! are you saying the crusaders havent got alot of work 2do which is what i suggested? i honestly cannot believe how hostile and bitter you are being!
Widnes average was 3300 and this for a club who has not seen superleague action since 2005!
ps they were only in only in superleague for 4 yrs which to me aint several is it?
dibviking said:so scrapping 5000 fans and replacing them with 900 is expansion! you are beautiful you really are.
Bottom line is Celtic are light yrs from getting a franchise compared to other clubs, the only thing they have going for them is that the club is in wales, and that is it!
