You heard it here first

Great technique blocking those rising balls. This guy shits on Siddle technique wise

You'll see him at Number 8 before too long

Cheers,
Moffo

I tend to agree. Made it look easy. Even when Amla went in short he guided it straight into the ground.

I tend to favour the Jason Gillespie similarity. Number 9 or 10 at best and maybe a nightwatchman role

Agree with Snoozer. If he can add a 20 or 30 it should be seen as a bonus.
The genuine tail ender is fast becoming a thing of the past.

Handy tailender, similar to Jason Gillespie

Agree with these posts.

He does seem like a handy player with the bat, but can be that guy towards the bottom of the order to get you some extra runs.

Keep him where he is.

I do agree though that down the track, he does have the potential to become an all-rounder.

I think he can be as good a bat as Brett Lee who at a time was on the verge of being considered a genuine all rounder.

FFS. It was the first time the kid has cracked double figures in fc cricket and also the first time he's taken more than 3-fer. Shit he only has 1 5-fer in Futures League and none at all at NSW U/19s level.

There's no doubt he has the tools, but lets not bet the house on some kid carrying an underperforming test side. We'll break him and end up back to square one.

He needs to be well managed, so no more f**king ODIs for a while and probably rotate him with Harris this summer so we don't end up with both of them nursing injuries.

As for all rounder, I'd rather see him drop back to 11 because SOK has come in for Lyon. Let's just enjoy his great performance and hope for many more, but leave the pressure for the senior players where it belongs.
