Knights forward Adam Cuthbertson out 4-6 weeks due to a grade two medial ligament injury suffered in Sunday's big loss to the Warriors #NRL

Pretty shattering to see our prop/middles stocks being slowly whittled down...I think we'll go on a bit of a run later this season (yes I know its hard to see now, especially with all the Captain Emo's around here who in many cases make good points) but this injury has certainly put that off for a while. Might not see a lot in terms of wins until after origin perhaps.

THE Newcastle Knights face an injury crisis ahead of their clash against the Tigers on Sunday, with five players either ruled out or in doubt.

Adam Cuthbertson (knee, round 18) will miss at least a month after picking up an injury in Sunday’s loss to the Warriors, while Akuila Uate (knee), Beau Scott (neck), Jarrod Mullen (shoulder) and Jake Mamo (back) are racing the clock.

With Clint Newton (pectoral, round 15) and Alex McKinnon (neck, season) also on the long-term list, Newcastle’s depth may be tested as they battle to climb from 15th on the NRL ladder.

Beau is the toughest hombre in the game. Willie discussed on Fox last night how Beau was spewing his guts up the night of origin in his hotel room and had migraines from the impact his body copped? Willie said when Beau complains of pain you know it hurt. I feel he should rest until he is ready. He was second only to Hayne that night. His tackles on Slater were my fave part of the game. He belted him.

Our season is gone, Id rather he rest himself for game 2 than risk injury for us right now
