Two-time NRL Premiership winning player and represented Queensland and Australia.

How many of you losers have done that?

Ancient history dildo.

He is paid very big coin to produce that form for the Knights on a regular basis, he has not done that, but when a teammate makes a blue he jumps all over him, not a good look and not professional.

Halve his contract and put him on big performance based incentive and watch him be a Billy Slater week in week out.

He is only there for the dough, the team and the area means f**k all to him!

If Darius was at the Broncos still, and the Broncos were having the shit merkin season the Knights are having, and he was having a cry because he was frustrated at how shit they were going, I'd cop it sweetly all day long.

Plenty of merkins at other clubs who don't give two shits about what's going on, on the field, and their performances show it. They talk about "working hard at training" and "passion", but seldom do they show it. Daruis is having a bludger of a season, but at least he's showimg some emotion, which would indicate he gives a stuff.

Men from the Hunter don't cry, not in public anyway. it's not the done thing. I'm not so sure he cares about the Knights, he only cares about Wayne & the pay packet. He is a mercenary who switches clubs when someone else does.

That might be a little harsh. I think he's just following Wayne Bennett, who's obviously a mentor to him. Can't blame the bloke for that.

as a professional athlete, one who has been to the very top, he cares about winning. about success. he doesn't need to have some sort of allegiance to Newcastle to be upset about the way things are going. there are other motivations to play good football other than club allegiance... although you mightn't know that in Newcastle.

No issue with it.

Shows he has heart. It may be a little broken at the moment, but in Wayne we trust.

He had a reason though, poor guy has struggled with injury his whole career.

I remember Mick Weyman sobbing openly on the field when he re-injured himself at the Raiders

Boyd back to his ordinary worst tonight, throwing falcons, forward passes and allowing tries in. He did try a bit in the first half but really he is soft as a marshmallow and has little to offer any team.

The only way he will shine and be the darling of the media again is if he is somehow picked for Queensland again where he will just run outside Inglis and do nothing else.

I remember Tate sobbing a few years back when he hurt his neck playing for Aus. Thought the coverage continually showing it was a bit shitty actually, dude thought he was done and was pretty much alone in the sheds.

Tate having a teary over a potentially career ending injury (for the third time) is understood by most rational people.

Daahhhrius having a half time sook because his team is going shit is just plain funny.
