Great kid. He hasn’t really reached anywhere near his peak due to having a new coach/coordinator nearly every season he’s been in the league.

I hope he f**king kills it for you guys.

So do I. But it will take a little while for him to fit in. If Dallas are to see his best, most likely won’t be to till next season.

It had to happen, Dallas have sacked OL coach Paul Alexander. Our OL performance this season has been ordinary, even after taking into account Fredericks illness. The new OL coach is current assistant in that position and former Cowboys player Marc Colombo. The team has brought in OL guru Hudson Houck as an advisor.

Jerry Jones has announced former Cowboys Vice President of player personnel Gil Brandt as the 22nd member of the Cowboys Ring of Honor. Brandt filled the position of VP from 1960 to 1988. He is also under consideration for the contributor's class of 2019 for the Pro Football Hall of Fame

There goes season 2018. Possibly also a few coaches and players could be looking for new teams in 2019.

Cowboys roster changes

The team has released CB Treston Decoud and WR Deonte Thompson, Their positions on the roster have been taken by WRs Noah Brown and Lance Lenoir.

It will be interesting to see how Lenoir performs. He had a very good preseason. With the releasing of Thompson Dallas will most likely receive a 4th round compensatory pick in next years draft.

A solid win by the Cowboys over the Eagles. A few things to get excited about, such as Elliott who had an outstanding game, and rookie linebacker Vander Esch. VE has incredible range for a linebacker who is good in stopping the run and defending the pass.

The downside, whilst Prescott had a good game he still made errors. Is he our long term qb is a question still be answered. TE is still a problem, we really do not have someone there. Defensive backs out side it of Jones are also a problem

Really needs to learn to throw it away instead of taking the sack and losing plenty of yardage.

After a record-setting performance Sunday in Philadelphia, linebacker Leighton Vander Esch (the wolf hunter) has been named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week.

The Wolf Hunter set a Cowboys franchise rookie record with 19 tackles against the Eagles, including 13 solo stops in the 27-20 victory.

Not only did Wolf Hunter fly around the ball for nearly 20 tackles, but he recorded his first career interception in the first quarter that led to a Cowboys field goal.

Dallas have a genuine contender for NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year.

I have been on the road all day so I have just caught up the Dallas result. A great victory over the Falcons. The Cowboys have the makings of a truely great linebacker in Vander Esch.

That VanderEsch looks damn good.
What are the feelings about Jayon Smith now? He seems awesome in coverage and at times it looks like he is going to be a star but is that the feeling amongst Cow-fans?

The emergence of Vanderbilt Esch has taken some pressure of Smith. I think it is still but too early to say too much about Smith. I believe next season we should see the best of him. Potentially Dallas has one of the greatest linebacker pairings of all time.

The downside to the linebackers is the continuing injury crisis with Lee. Really wouldn’t surprise me if Dallas let him go in the off-season.
