Because the NRL makes the rules up as they go along…Why would Suallliiii get it? He played last year
It’s worth double checking, though - cos I think there’s a clause relating to second and even 3rd year players…

He only played 5 games last year. I'm not sure what the rules are now, but they were that a rookie could play up to 5 games the season before and still be considered for rookie of the year. Why would Suallliiii get it? He played last year

Maybe the NRL could retrospectively suspend him for one match in 2021, with the suspension to be enacted in 2023, or wherever he wants to take it, thus allowing him to he eligible…Its 5 games and they become ineligible so he’s out as he played 5 games exactly last year.
Fantastic! Now you are thinking like a true NRL supremo/marketing expert/promotions officer, publicity officer, or whatever, the title for that sort of administrative genius is !Maybe the NRL could retrospectively suspend him for one match in 2021, with the suspension to be enacted in 2023, or wherever he wants to take it, thus allowing him to he eligible…

And then had a crack at the refs. LolPayten won coach of the year. His speech droned on and on and on..... self indulgent drivel.
