I would say Gallen, he deserves it anyway, especially in a struggling team.

Parker and Lewis would come close, but I think the last month, Gallen wouldve picked up some points.

Lewis because of his ball playing ability ahead of Parker, then Gallen. Honorable mention to Anasta, who is finally playing in his best position and probably will take it next year, bar injuries...

Paul Gallen.

More metres
More tackles
More hit ups
More offloads
More tantys
More referee abuse
More penalties

Leader in most stats.

Definitely a toss up between;
Luke Lewis
Paul Gallen
Corey Parker
Personally I'd love to see all three of them get recognition......but my tip is Paul Gallen, simply because he leads the stats in one of the bottom teams in the competition, and also because even though Lewis has been flashier and Parker is my favourite player of the three, I think Gallen deserves it.

I hate how people think stats are the be all and end all. Gallen does nothing except boring hitup after hitup. Hes got a big motor sure, but he actually reduces the effectiveness of his side, since hes stealing all the fresh props hitups, and he never has a break. Hindmarsh actually plays lock but hes superstitious and wants to wear the 11. He has had a good year but itd have to be Corey Parker or Frank Paul Nuasala (has just moved to the 11 since Anasta went to lock, before that he was playing the best of the 13s).

I don't think stats are everything, but if you look at Gallen's workload, how brilliant he was in Origin III, and how amazing he has been for a severely under-performing side, then I think he definitely deserves it....
It's much like the arguments about Cade Snowden and Luke Douglass; if those two were in a high-placed team, they would have played all three Origin games this year without a doubt, same with Paul Gallen.....
Again though, it's a toss up between those three (Lewis, Parker, Gallen)

im not a big fan of him... because he gives me the sh*ts when hes got the ball in hand...

but considering the defensive workload the bloke has... im a wee bit surprised Michael Luck's name hasnt been mentioned.

Because all he does is tackle. He runs about 3 times per game. How could that ever be best lock in the comp material.

In order
Luke Lewis
Paul Gallen
Corey Parker

those 3 are a fair way ahead of anyone else.

Gallen, Lewis or Parker, either of them would be worthy
