Without giving too much away...

Do not confuse a lack of public announcement with a lack of activity on the sponsorship front.

That is all.

Fabulous news.

So what happens to all the 2012 gear selling online without sponsors? Did blades just give us that gear out of good gesture? Let's hope we give it to a charity that needs it rather than the furnace

Am I?

Have u seen our training gear? It looks like the squad is decked out from Best and Less summer specials. Como Jannali have more sponsors on their training gear.

What I'm saying is these people should have started looking for sponsors before our season even ended. Maybe they did and failed miserably? I don't know you tell me Mr know all? Going off our training gear the sponsors are no where to be seen. Is this your department? If so stick to selling hotdogs

Spot on...its just that some people see everything to do with the Sharks through rose coloured glasses.

The training gear is embarrassing. it's something I hear every day.

geez there are some sad people around. so what if there are no sponsors on the training shirts, doesnt mean the world is coming to an end, we still have a team to support, that should be enough to make people happy, but no, lets complain about anything and everything. if we dont get a sponsor, then there would be cause for concern on why we couldnt get one, until the club comes out and says "we dont have a major sponsor for 2012" i dont see why people should be complaining. if you dont like the training shirts because they dont have sponsors on them, dont buy the merch, its as simple as that.

question to all the sad sacks : how do you how the negotiations are going in regards to sponsors??

Id say a big fat NOTHING unless you work at the club.

Stevie, if only those who worked at the club could comment on things this'd be a pretty quiet old forum.

i get that, but silly little things like having sponsors on training gear is clutching a bit.

i guess over the years everyone has had a million to complain about about management, and if having a sook about sponsors logos on training gear is all there is to whinge about, management must be doing a good job.

I hadn't even noticed there was no sponsors on the shirts.

not one single person even mentioned it to me everyday.

from what ive heard we are in negotiations.

the gear is whatever. its pre season training. they have to use the 2012 gear, but as its not finalised theyve likely just released it out there.

we did this before in 2010. all the polo shirts the public could buy were sponsored by toyota.

haha bit like the original super league game tickets (radiers) that didnt go ahead delayed due to legal proceedings.

really?

i thought it wa all sorted out and started when it should for 1997.

i remember we forfeited round 1 in 1995 due to legal wrangling. all the SL teams did.

Nt so carch. Check out the Bulldogs or even Souths.

um

ok I did.

I get the family tix in the PB stand on the half way mark.
2 adults 2 kids

These are just a few of the other clubs prices for the same sort of thing.
dogs = $785.00
Bunnies = $856.00 and no mention of a regular seat..it says reserved or general admission.
Dragons = $735.00 for 12 games . These are concourse seats or a few right on the end and up the back of the new grandstand.
They didn't offer family in the grandstand on halfway...and didn't divulge what "family " equated to .
They do not have child prices in the grandstand.
12 games for 1 adult in the grandstand with a similar view as to what we have is $480.00 so by 2 is $960.00 for half the seats I get.

Broncos family is 1 adult and 1 child = $696.00 so x 2 is $1392.00

sharks are $780.00 in grandstand on halfway or close enough to, for a family of 4.
2 adults and 2 kids .

Inclined to agree that if this (training logo's) is our biggest issue at the moment we havn't got too much to complain about. My only concern is that all the cost cutting (which was and is still required) is not costing us money through members/sponsers queries not being seen to through a lack of staff etc. I also agree that Damian will be judged on the success or failure of the development primarily but if it happens to be rejected I dont think it will because of a lack of effort on his part.
