He used to be on the cusp of origin selection
He runs hard
Puts his body on the line

This,before he did his archiles.
Has never been the same, although he tries hard he is not dominant.
This is one of Price's downfall he is loyal to the wrong players

For how fast he is, Hunt should be the size of Kassiano, but he is the size of most back rowers or some centres.

That's a good point about his injury. You are prob right that is the reason.

What does bending the line mean. I thought only houdini could bend a spoon.
He is no magician
He is our Aiden Tolman

Hunt, Stanley, Dugan and Beale should have all come back from serious long term injury through the Cutters.

Let them find form and make their case for inclusion in the first grade side on form rather than on reputation.

Hate is a bad word, I don't think people hate Hunt, they just don't rate him now........he used to be quite good.

Hunt is a good front rower if you have a dominant front rower taking the first hit up ie/ when Weyman was at his peak he is not a forward leader. Our pack is not to far off being good we need an enforcer or 2.

Before injuries he was, as someone mentioned, like Tolman. Solid, good work rate, pretty tough. He is now the least effective prop in the game - period. He is very slow, never puts on a hit, never dents the line, gives away penalties regularly. I would put him behind cooper, au mau, ailiomai, rory obrien, stockwell...and we are one of the weaker clubs in the comp for front row depth. He is obviously popular in the club - everyone speaks about him as a great personality...a players player...makes people laugh by hiding Nighty's boots and farting whilst Pricey is speaking etc. He is an automatic selection - he has been treading water / going backwards since 2011 and the coaching staff ignore it.

Firstly there is no HATE.

Its a case of where Dan is at the moment.

Watched a game on Fox not long ago when he first came on board. My Lord he was tough.
Hit the line with vigour, and yes "bent" the defensive effort. Also in defence, he was JDB like.

Those attributes are gone now. Im sure due to injury. He posses no threat to the defence and as a result is down on confidence. There is no second phase play at all.

No hate... just reality.

Question is :

Can he come back and return to his old fierce best

Or is it because of his injury ridden past

Spot on just maybe he needs a stint in the cutters to have a think about where he is heading. No one hates him........
