Hoe, given Dane has been the Tigers' best all season and a star in both semi finals, I think that statement is a little off the mark. There is no greater pressure in regular season football than playing against your old club, yet Campbell did that twice this season and led Easts to victories in both encounters - the second a man-of-the-match television performance.

One bloke who looks simply outstanding is Dallas McIllwaine. He's 22 and has been around for a couple of years. But on his form, he is a certainty for Qld Residents and I would say an NRL contract awaits him - if the scouts are doing their jobs properly, that is.

What position does Dallas McIllwaine play?

He plays lock. McIlwain started out as a five-eighth for Wynnum, making top grade at a young age and showing promise. He went to Manly in Sydney, possibly too early in his career and played in the lower grades.

He came back to Wynnum for a while before going to Easts where he has been one of their many stars this year. He looks to have bulked up quite a bit from his days at Wynnum.

Well the knights already have enough locks so thats probably why they didnt bother signing him up. What they need is a someone who can play in the halves, preferably someone better than Witt!

McIlwain has really only been playing top grade for Easts since the beginning of August so it is unlikely he would have attracted much NRL interest yet.
