had a fantastic overall game for the doggies last night. would not look out of place in an eels jersey. I know we have been linked to him in the media, but i dont take anything as gospel from them anymo0re.

Can anyone closer to the club shed some light here?

if i recall, some talk was had about him, but has really died off here of late. all the talk seems to be about poore (who people now think will be a shark) and shackelton.

Holdsworth? I'd rather pick a random from this forum to play in the halves

Im a dogs fan and i dont think he would fit in your team , i think Parra are in a similar position to what the Dogs were last year although i think this Parra side has more talent than we did

I think the best idea for Parra is to try and find an experienced halfback who can tutor the young up and coming halves for 2 years, i think Kimmorley is going to do wonders with Roberts and Barba over the next 2 years.

From what i have heard Mortimer and kelly have big wraps on them and i honestly think its unfair they be put into this side and be expected to produce .

Are there any halfbacks off contract

Why is it every time a player off contract has a good game there is a thread about him???? He won't solve any of our problems.

What bout signing Michael Monaghan to play hooker and then it will make it easier for one of your younger halfbacks having a great playmaker at hooker

Chris Thorman?
He has actually played well for the few times I watched him, has a great alround kicking game (esp his long kicking game) but probably requires a creative 5-8 because his running game is lacking, but is a good distributor of the ball.

One of Thormans biggest strengths is his running game...or it was a year or so back.
