Meh, say about him what you like.

But with those beautiful blue eyes, he'd be swimming in poontang.

I like Morts, he is polite, thoughtful and a quality human being
When we won the Grand Final there was a disabled girl on stage who was part of the proceedings. Morts was one of only three players in the Roosters side to spend some time with her, rather than walking straight past to grab his medal. Speaks volumes about him as a person.

Kicking the ball out on the full pales into insignificance somewhat in my opinion

As others have said, he is a good utility player and always gives his all

He has talent, just maybe not enough to be a top class half in the NRL
He shines in the lower grades and wouldn't look out of place in Super League

Had the Titans retained Albert Kelly and brought Morts off the bench to play in stints out of dummy half as the Roosters did, you'd see the best of him. He has blinding speed and his support play at the break down is also first rate.

rewatched the dragons vs eels qualifying final in 2009 last night. arguably, we owe him for our first 12 points. he wasn't just a passenger that year he was playing good footy.

put him behind a strong forward pack, partner him with a great halfback, have the nrl reduce the interchanges and there's a place for a player like Mortimer in our game.

True mate,he took time out from a family gathering with all his brothers, his girlfriend, mum and dad and Chris Anderson at a pub in Tuncurry,to talk to my daughter and sign an autograph,it wasn't just a brief chat he sat down with her,a real nice bloke.
