Starting to think Danny Weidler has found the LU forums...
What the mug did 5 years ago is unforgivable, regardless of hindsight and how much of a hero you think he's become
He really has hit a new low, Weidler.
Seriously, Danny's tongue is going to have stains from Sonny's tattoos on it.
Superstar, sonny bill?
SBW broke a contract ? that?s his crime. Him selling himself to the highest bidder is a position that quite frankly most of us would like to be in or are in. The salary cap wasn?t the reason why the Doggies underpaid him ? they paid him as much as it took to get him. They would have paid more if SBW had the sense at the time to realize just how much he was worth. Contracts aren't worth a dime in Rugby League - walking out on your mates though, that's an action that he has to live with forever.
He is a superstar, he?s actually more than that. Whether he actually deserves such lofty tags is another argument altogether, but the man is news, big, big news of which in my country at least, he?s on par with, if not supersedes the likes of Richie McCaw and Dan Carter. His boxing quite rightly is a joke (like many are in the early, early stages of their careers) but nonetheless it keeps him in the news and the dollars ticking over.
No other player in League and probably Union would ever even be considered in a similar light as David Beckham.
.
He willingly and freely signed a contract. He then walked out on it. nuff said.
He had to do it...Imagine the Danny Weidler article if SBW killed someone
Can we please have more stories about SBW, Anthony mundane and qua-de cooper, Merkin peace, Jon ibrahimabanich - ffs what a merkin his reporter and channel 9 are for pushing all of these agendas
Imagine the Danny Weidler article if SBW killed someone
Hardly. The SuperLeague war highlights the worthlessness of his comment.HA bengal gets his arse handed to him by Bunniesman!!He willingly and freely signed a contract. He then walked out on it. nuff said.
It?s not the issue. The issue is how much (or how little) Canterbury valued him as evidenced by how much more he received elsewhere after he walked away from them.btw bengal are you aware that salaries for the elite players havent gone up in the time $bw ran off? he wasnt doing it to raise the salaries for bus drivers like he'd have you believe
That community is born that way, it's not a lifestyle. Weidler has no choice. With Weidler it's just sad when grown men fawn over certain footballers. :sarcasm:
