Someone made the claim in the off season that Darius Boyd was a better player than Jarryd Hayne

Hayne played very well for 10 weeks. You all seemed to forget how uninvolved he was for most of the season, and for some strange reason thought he'd suddenly developed a reason to bother actually playing this year.

In saying that, even as a half arsed player, he's still way better than boyd.

hayne only produced against depleted sides last year depleted warriors,sharks,knights,penrith and tigers who defense werent strong but was the only game against a good opposition

and sides who were gone at the end of the year, the dragons,titans and dogs

Boyd already produced over 13 weeks against far stronger company then hayne can.

And more of a team player, unlike hayne plays 10-15 min when things not going his way , no more hayne involvement then the eels struggle more

Jarryd Hayne is very media driven but at least he got his side to a grand final. Darius Boyd? Yeah he has been in good form so far but means jack all if he doesn't deliver come finals time.

Yeah, he's a nutter, but being as mental as he was I don't think many of us realised just how much Boyd would improve as a player.

I personally reckon he was winding people up and making an obviously dumb statement (as it was at the time) but time has proven him more right than I bet he thought he would be.
