We got rid of the expensive options (Hoffman and Barba) and kept actual depth players.

All the Sharks fans crowing about them now having Barba clearly didn't watch him play at fullback for us this year.

Not overly worried. Hodges, Kahu or K Nikorima will play fullback till he comes back. If Nikorima gets the nod I wouldn't be surprised to see Boyd back as a winger if Nikorima plays to potential.

I'd be worried if that old, slow Hodges went to the back again or Nikorima the turnstile wears the 1.

Derail is a strong word, but losing a $400k first choice FB hurts any team and their plans. It's going to change Wayne's plans without doubt. Plan B is never as good as plan A. That's why it's plan B.
