How someone cannot find a modicum of humour in the fact that Brisbane signed barba to "be closer to his family", he then under delivers then they offload him ASAP and pay a large chunk of his salary at Cronulla (hope his missus & kid moved down for his sake). They bring Boyd home on decent coin & he gets inured without making a tackle in anger & is now out for at least 1/2 the season. How can no-one see the humour in this scenario is beyond me.

it's a 6 month injury and that has him back just shy of mid-way through next year, which isn't the duration of a season as we all know

Not many are rejoicing over darbs suffering an injury, finding humour in the timing/situation of these events? Without a doubt, big difference, but I think you knew that.
