The chances of the Morris twins re-uniting at St George Illawarra next NRL season appear unlikely after Josh said he's keen to reap the benefits of an exciting new era at Canterbury.
Josh is off contract at the end of this season, and there has been some speculation that the Dragons are eager to lure the classy centre back to join his brother Brett and add to the 46 games he played in the red and white after making his first-grade debut as a 20-year-old in 2007.
But it's no surprise the classy centre is keen to remain with the Bulldogs after his move from the Dragons at the end of 2008 coincided with him making his debut for NSW and Australia.
"I'm off contract this year actually so hopefully we can have some talks and progress from there," said Josh after conducting a clinic with about 40 kids from St Mark's College at Wattle Grove in Sydney's south-west as part of the NRL's Community Carnival.
"I'm happy where I am at the moment. It's a really good club and I think that the culture that they're building is going to be around for a while and it's a good culture."
Josh is set to form a strong left-side combination with one of the club's key recruits, backrower Frank Pritchard, who has joined the club after eight seasons with Penrith

Not sure why everyone is desperate to get Josh back - contract extensions for Boyd, Stanley and Nightingale are way more important than getting Josh back.

Of course he is going to say he wants to stay... makes him more valuable and he can increase his earnings by creating a bidding war... but I agree resigning Boyd, Stanley and Nighty are more important... as is getting the signature of Wayne Bennett on a lifetime contract...

Leave me alone all Old men grumble . However I think the unspoken expectation was he would replace Cooper when he retired Plus I'm worried for the boys sanity . Anyone who picks Canterbury over Saints has major issues .

f**k him!

I he doesn't want to play for the Mighty Red V, the current NRL champions and follow in his famous Dad's footsteps then he can rot in Bankstown
